I read that in the continental USA it's got the second least sunny days, only Seattle has fewer. I go outside a lot for hiking and what have you but did you ever see that movie Powder? Anyways, I have spent more time in New England in general and it's definitely on the list... Vermont, NH, Maine, them dinky states near Boston are all sounding good.

I agree with the states you named in the northeast. Adirondack area in NY is beautiful too
