I'm concerned that this new server will significantly affect population levels on the current server. Does anyone else feel this way? I can't see this PvP server being anything but detrimental to the current one.

You bluebies are detrimental to eachother, looking at your forums it looks like you guys want a server where you can play solo and camp your pixels in peace, so if the red manages to steal a few bluebies with balls over, so much the better...

you might. but it's not a requirement. you will have to deal with ppl raging on you in ooc, calling you an idiot/horrible player/whatever they can to try and get you mad, if you disagree with them, if you kill them, or if you get killed in some random pvp.

some deal by turning into douches themselves (it actually does work for some ppl) and others learn to ignore the e-douches and just go about their business, remembering to kill them later

so yea, they are there.. but not really a big deal unless you let them get to you.
