xml files not compatible
I can log into game, but there is a message:
"Your XML files are not compatible with current Everquest files. Certain windows may not perform correctly. Use /loadskin Default 1 to load Everquest default skin." My chat window does not have a heading so it cannot be grabbed and moved and other windows are a mystery as they cannot be moved and have no title. Doing /loadskin Default 1 didn't help. I was told that it wasn't functional. I did this: For the velious style User Interface, navigate to the uifiles folder and backup your default folder, then download this file and extract it into the default folder: http://www.project1999.org/files/veliousui.zip I put them in the Unifiles default folder (I think). There is also a Uniflies old default folder - - so I extracted to both of them. Is this the file that is questionable? How do I get the default or have the windows perform correctly? Thanks for any help.

Lots of the files in default are legacy from the Titanium install and have no impact on the 'classic' UI. I went through the files thoroughly while downgrading my own UI and somethings like the extra buff slots etc are semi coded in the game but not in the UI - even though classic doesn't use them. The same with the extra tabs in the inventory window - classic doesn't use them but the titanium core files are looking for them so you get an error.
Basically what I am saying is ignore them.

The way the velious UI works in this is that you can't move a window or the buff windows or anything like that, what you have to do is resize them in the position you want. IE. drag the right side of it to the place you want the window to end, then drag the left side to the place you want it to begin, you do the same thing with the top and bottom bit of the chat window, It's tedious to begin with, but still works.

As you're resizing your windows this way, be sure not to make them too small, it crashes EQ.
