The drivetrain one expired last June, but there's this whole class action lawsuit brewing over these CVTs failing on my Rogue and a few other models. Part of that lawsuit is extending the warranty to 84k miles. I am at 57k at the moment. I'm no mechanic but a transmission croaking at 57k seems a bit early.
I had a new off the lot 2003 Chevy S10 5sp for over 16 years, on the original clutch. The head warped in the 16th year due to an overheat one summer. 170k miles, could have ran easily to 250k+ without issue if I had bothered to put a few dollars into more proper maintenance.

My current commuter.. oh boy, my wallet filed a domestic assault case. I only take it to the best Honda dealership in the area, that has been here for a very long time. I pay the dumb bills for absolute correct service.

Note: It is second owner, shipped in from Texas (I wanted a specific year model with low miles). The previous owner couldn't drive a manual worth shit, $2,700 (Edit: trans service was $1300, I had other work done that day it required) to have the trans serviced at 56k miles. They had destroyed the clutch, granted the stock "noob friendly" honda clutch system is ass ran over in the summer, I have never understood why its in their premier performance option for this model that only comes with a short-ratio 6sp.

This is the fix.

I wish the manual would make a come back. I’ve never understood why they’re so popular in Europe but basically moribund in the US

Mountains

Also 80% of US citizens shouldn't legally be allowed near engines let alone cars.

No way I would own a manual if I lived in a city with dense traffic.

Makes sense, honestly never knew that

My Honda Accord is not a manual, though I wanted one. Houston traffic is god awful so maybe it’s a blessing

It is! to hell with stop n' go traffic while trying to enjoy a straight drive.

btw, the new 2022 Accord Coupe is pretty sharp and comes with a V6 manual option (hard to find)

I drove a manual pickup in Tampa - St pete a lot. Got about 16-20 mpg. Was a 20 year old pickup in 2012 Good truck.

I prefer my car drive itself while I do drugs.

V6 manual with VTech would be cool? Is it naturally aspirated? I would love something without a turbo, especially with old school VTech? What’s your thoughts on the new integra? I’m disappointed by it
