It's kind of a mixed bag. I'm more mellow if I smoke pot or take benzos, but I'm way more of a dick if I drink alcohol or caffeine, smoke cigarettes or take any opiates.

It's definitely harder to tolerate how stupid most people are when I'm not fucked up on something, though.

I miss smoking cigs a lot. I could never get into smoking weed or drinking as both make me sleepy as fuck. I don't care what other people do really so long as it doesn't interfere with me me me.

The only way I could see it really annoying someone is if they cannot smoke for whatever reason (random drug tests at work probably high on the list). It would be similar (though not exactly like) talking about how you love to get drunk in group when you have a recovering alcoholic in the group too.

Otherwise, if it really bothers you, find a different group or pick a class with some solo ability. I have left many groups because I didn't like the attitude of the group generally or of one person specifically.
