Default Game Freezes Looking at gif Flame Animations

It seems like my game freezes if I look at gif any flame gif animations, has anyone encountered this before? I'm running my game windowed mode, compatibility for Window XP sp3 (also tried 2, same thing). Running as administrator...not really sure what else I can do to solve this. Doesn't happen all the time but it has happened in bad moments.

Yea I have the same problem. It has became a big problem lately. Did you fix it by chance? Or found a workaround?

Pretty akward that you're looking at flame gifs frequently enough that you know it is the root cause of crashing your game.

Remove Windows XP compatibility mode. By right-clicking on the game executable file → Properties → Compatibility. Avoid using the default Windows driver.

also, sometimes you have to force the game to play on the discreet gpu, if you have an apu (cpu with gfx built in). Common on laptops. machine specs help us troubleshoot.
