Actually one big advantage fossil fuels have over both nuclear and green energy is that you can just take a big boatload of natural gas or coal and ship it somewhere else and retain all of it's energy potential. Green energy needs giant batteries that don't exist yet to move it around, and nuclear materials need plants to exist already before you can ship it to be used to distribute power in those areas. But again that's mostly on libs opposing the building of new reactors, not any limitation of the tech itself.
