NPC Spawn Issue: tottering gorilla (for Druid epic)

I just got my corrupted. I sat up here on the plateau and killed everything pretty much.. leeches, skellys, mosquitos, trakaraptors.. about 25 mobs in total.

And a tainted popped, from what? Who knows lol but it worked this time =)

So it seems like there are other mobs within the Tottering gorilla spawn cycle.

Just go to the location Daldaen listed and kill everything that walks past you.
I got my Tainted gorilla to spawn off of a mosquito.

I found a spawn at 3700, 2400 that has "a tottering gorilla" on it. Last pop was a mosquito of some kind. This is my 3rd pop sitting at this loc, and my 2nd tottering. Seems to have a 7min repop. Hopefully it won't take much longer [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

EDIT: didn't take too long to get the corrupted after sitting at the spawn point

I got the tainted to spawn at that location...however it did not take just a little while...it took a long while. I resorted to quad kiting everything on the plateau only to be shamed by having the damn thing spawn on the spawn point I camped for 6 hours.

Tottering gorillas in the NW corner are what we need to kill in order to spawn our Tainted gorilla.
(no other gorillas elsewhere in zone will ever spawn our tainted, according to the wiki/magelo/allakhazam).
