 it's like you make the atomic bomb (server) and you don't want to let other countries (guilds) have nuclear secrets (under the radar information). it's gm's business and no one else's or else everyone gets nuked. letting Iran or North Korea beta test and keep the successful nukes, makes other countries uncomfortable. | ||

It just makes it so you can loot your corpse a little more easily, and have a few extra inventory slots, because it provides a special extra keys-only bag (essentially).
It's one of those things that pretty much undeniably made the game better, but it truly wasn't there in classic (ie. the whole point of this place). Then again, neither were custom UIs or pet windows, and keyrings came out at the same time or very shortly thereafter, so they're "grey" enough (classicly speaking) to start fights here [You must be logged in to view images. They were in Test server before Luclin iirc, so in a way they are classic for players of the right server?
Still, I like the opportunity cost of having to sacrifice an item slot for access to best zones.

Yeah, they're definitely right on the line.
Personally, I'd like to see them as a "we're truly at the end of the timeline" feature ... which is to say that if it were me, I'd add them when Green merges into Blue [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
