New Account - No verification e-mail

Okay, well it's back....he's attempted to sign up using that link 3 times, never received a verification.

What step should I advise him to take next?

I *think* you can also sign up with an EqEMU account. I heard that one doesn't have issues like p99's email server but YMMV.

I had the same issue a while back when I was helping a buddy sign up. We tried resending the verification email multiple times and nothing came through, not even in spam. We figured maybe it was the email service being used, so we switched to using an older Gmail account I had lying around and that actually worked, email came through instantly.

If you need to speed things up or want backup accounts that are already verified, might be worth checking out this link. It's where I found some solid options when I needed aged Gmail accounts for stuff like this.
