In Green 2.0 will Mage summoned swords proc?
In Classic and Kunark of Green 1.0, the Mages summoned swords proced on everything, not just summoned creatures, right?
Was that intentional and meant to be changed at a later date with a patch? Or was it simply a bug that they didn't intent, and in Green 2.0 will be fixed from day 1? | ||

It was intentional. It's how things worked on live, and also on Blue they didn't do that, which means the devs had to put in work to make them do it on Green.
I can't read the dev's minds, but I think it's safe to say they wouldn't have added code for (weird) classic behavior if it wasn't part of all the other classic behavior code. Also, given that they didn't give Mages a lot of other classic behavior, it'd just be cruel to take that tiny thing from us [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

The short answer is yes it will still proc, but for a shorter time. It was discovered that it has no stats or proc originally.

Wishful thinking... This was flagged back in 2009. I don't think they are going to do it.
