I made my account 2012 near launch of Red server and I never "simply logged in and got free loot"... what are you even talking about?

Everything yr saying is honestly exactly what I like about EQ... my go to phrase is always, "Q:What makes the Excalibur the Excalibur? A: There is only one."

When I see a player who is decked out in EQ all I think is, "Wow this guy loves the game and really put some work in, really nice stuff here. Very cool."

If you want to play a shitty game where every casual has everything that everyone else has and everyone looks the same, there's always WoW homie.

While we were out on patrol one day our patrol vehicle suffered a huge IED attack and when I woke up from the coma the doctor told me he had to amputate both my legs. I also learned my 4 brothers were KIA protecting your freedom while I was out cold.

When I finally got back home and logged onto the server I found out guises no longer dropped. I was so devastated I sobbed for weeks in my wheelchair. Now when I log onto green players with guises laugh at me and calll me stumpy loser because I don't have a guise or legs.

I'vr started drinking hard liquor to forget what happened out there but I'd do it again if give half the chance because it's my sworn duy to protect your freedom to drink coca-cola and loot guises.

Buying into the war machine and telling other people they are fighting for my freedom... the only thing standing in the way of America's freedom is it's politicians. Ether way just because you were on duty and didn't get a Guise doesn't mean everyone else got on for free. I was playing in 2012 and I don't have a guise... I never cared to get one.

Legacy items aren’t classic

No one raced to evil eye on classic it was just a mob dropping a cool item that some people thought might be useful.

Same with the guise.

P99 style is stupid and makes the game have fucked EMu only progression priorities. Should not be implemented this way. It worked for blue because no one knew exactly how the shut would be in the game and most people had never even killed evil eye since people just didn’t know that it was the place to be in 1999.
