This is a big part of what killed P99 Green for me. The PNP system ultimately allows toxic players to manipulate it to grief other people.
I feel like a simple fix to the PNP would basically say that if someone shows up and wants the camp that you're camping, you have to pass it off to them, and can't just invite your guild mate who wasn't even in the zone or online at the time and pass it off to them instead. It might be hard to enforce at first, but I think after a while, it would become the established norm and you wouldn't see as many people trying to do these nasty shenanigans. At least on TLP when people are toxic like this you can just KS them. And on TLP, KSing isn't a huge problem. I felt like players were more willing to engage in diplomacy be cause they didn't want to risk getting trained or KS'd and it felt more like the EQ I remembered.

I once got into a road rage incident with a guy in a bright yellow Corvette. He pulled off to a small residential area. Idiot. I made note of that, came back a few weeks later and wedged 4" bolts under his tires. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

PnP was created to alleviate CSR workload so that players could settle disputes themselves. in the hopes that players would compromise. instead, it created a EQ 20 year old Emulator Lawyer Academy where people point to the vague PnP policy and go "See I'm allowed to do that, it doesnt specify in the rules!"

I thought that was weird so I asked if it had happened to him. He said oh yea his new Tundra got keyed At first I was like damn, then months later he spills that he contested a parking spot with someone then verbally cussed them out, then when he got out of the store and came back his truck was keyed I was like “well, yea…”

Anytime I go out in public with him, there's a small chance of getting arrested. My grandpa lost both of his legs when he was young, so my dad is especially angry with people who abuse handicap parking. He doesn't care. There was a car FULL of yolked up black dudes parked in a handicapped spot and he walks right up to them talking shit. He's not tough - he's just incapable of avoiding awkward or embarrassing moments. No filter, just straight and honest. He probably doesn't think. He just does.
