When my son (23) goes to the gym, he grabs two 105 or 115 dumbbells and instantly gets stares and dirty looks. When he proceeds to do decline bench presses, their eyes widen and they turn away.

Yea my dad cheated and ultimately divorced my mom because she gained a lot of weight

I fault him much more, it’s why I didn’t talk to him for nearly a decade. But I don’t hold her without any fault. It’s the partner’s responsibility to take care of themselves if remotely feasible
