I guess on blue its different from red, on Red the only thing I need are guts and white scales here are like 60k. Harder to get anyone to care for doing trakanon on red at all. only thing holding me back from doing it...I guess farming plat might be your only choice, but as a bard its not really a lucrative farm class.
on the other hand, as a raiding bard all you need are good drums for occlusion and pump mana songs thats it. | ||

Do guilds do ride alongs for Trakanon? Considering that's the only part that's raided and No Drop, and only bards need the gut strings, I feel like it's less contested than other epic components out there, but I've never done any raid content in EQ Classic.
If you're willing to farm out cash for the scale it could be done, but it'd take some dedication. Or get into the raid scene if you have the free time like that. | ||
