Default Feeling old yet?

I used to laugh and cringe at photos like these. Now, I think to myself,

" Wow, they are so young "

Nice to have a family like that to celebrate a birthday for them as well.

It is really wild how the years sort of sneak up on you. Nothing anyone says can ever really prepare you for aging; Its just so damn fast. Everything feels like the blink of an eye now a days.

I remember summers lasting a lifetime. Now a year goes by without a snag. Even planning things out, its over immediately, and it feels like another winter is rolling around again.

Covid was here and gone in an instant. Hell, I remember 9/11 like it was yesterday, and the " Great " quake in CA that leveled the double stacked highway.

I like video games, because if I avoid any online interaction I can get a good thrill.

A wild thing is also. I talk about getting up there in years, and I realize that everyone 20 years older than me feels the same way I do about these kids in the photos.

That is really the worst. I still make references to a lot of stuff from my youth, you know, the good stuff.......Back in my day, we have Aeon flux, Kids in the hall, liquid television, THE MAXX, beavis and, what? What was I talking about again?

Isn't the cycle extreme? I will watch 1970s LIVE DISCO FOOTAGE sometimes and you think, holy shit, these people are now in their 70s-80s.

Our time " In the sun " is so short, it makes me want to be an elf IRL so I could just watch these cycles and I ponder and smoke some of my old toby.

What the hell are we even doing? When you finally even *Start* to have a grasp on what your life is, and what is important, its already " Over " The only thing I don't know, is ENOUGH!

Also, I love the hindsight, I always think of what a lucky idiot I was 10 year prior, like every 10 years.
