I'm actually all for steroids in sports. I love seeing what humans can do at peak potential in strength, speed, and athleticism.

got permits to dayhike Half Dome in Yosemite this weekend. finally after years of entering the lottery...

~15 miles and ~5,000' elevation gain let's goooooooo

Damn nice. That have bears? Coulda swore I heard about attacks there? Bring bear spray if so?

I agree to some extent. I love the idea of bio hacking the human body, even if that involves chemicals

Everywhere has bears. The Yosemite ones are particularly intrepid and used to people, but you're absurdly unlikely to be attacked and even more unlikely to be killed, it's almost not worth thinking about. I'd maybe pack bear spray for grizzly country, but honestly I'm reaching the age where if a grizzly bear wants to eat me, fuck yea, what a badass way to die, fighting bears, losing, and making the national news.
