47 is what I always considered to be the last super easy level, because it's the last level where Level 35 MOBs (which exist in abundance without difficulty) remain blue. Steamfont is great, there are a bunch of Level 35's in close proximity to the windmill and the faction hit on Gnomes is irrelevant.

If you don't care about your faction, there are variety of Elf guards that can get you to Level 55 and are solid loot - go sell the equipment that drops at the Steamfont druid circle, if there isn't anyone around to vendor it for you (that's one of THE most Classic Everquest transactions - low level characters making some money by vendoring/banking for people hunting guards). Highkeep is a similar situation, a variety of NPC's to kill there, although tends to be more contested. Halas also has a bunch of Level 40's to fight, but might be empty these days if you're looking for someone to vendor for you. A bit further down the road, Neriak and Butcherblock/Kaladim can get you all the way to Level 60 if you want.

Spirocs in Timorous Deep are easy and can take you into the 50's. Nice scenery. Not great loot however. Tower of Frozen Shadow is great ZEM if you want to bother with the keying process, and Kedge Kedge if you want to bother with the tricky underwater combat and movement.

Enchanter can solo The Hole at 47, the entrance area is totally doable and it's one of the best ZEM's in the game.

KC group should still take an Enchanter at 47 too. Just don't depend on them for CC. Clarity, Haste, and a Level 40 charm pet is already enough to pull their weight.

The first level of green is still reasonable xp, so maybe 48 is the ‘last easy level’? (And completing that gets you to 49 for new spells!

Re level for KC… yeah there are a bunch of level 40 mobs, it’s kinda unnecessary that the culture insists 51+ (my cleric did 40-44 at basement fine despite even higher level of mobs … obvs things r diff 4 an enc tho). Curate , c and haste will already add more to a group than most other players.

People go crazy for crack since it's, quite literally, a gamechanger.

on a more ironic note, 47 was also when I went to KC with my cleric.
Personally I agree though that 49 is better for KC for enchanter, simply for allure.
That, too, is a gamechanger.

What's weird though is that I NEVER hear anyone go so heavy to bat for charsis. Heck, I only get ress requests there once every 3 months... even Lord Gongo is more relevant.
I'm sure it's probably a nice niche zone though. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

City of Mist - Arena group / Moat group, nuff said.

Allure is irrelevant at that level. Cajoling Whispers already charms things up to Level 46 and costs less mana.

I wouldn't say irrelevant due to the level variances in KC.
Some stretch above the 46 mark.

Additionally, 49 is another power level for enchanter. CHA buff increase, DoT increase, absorb shield increase, SLTW..
3 minute root if you're into that sorta thing too.
..a few other goodies too.

cajoling whispers can't charm some of the stronger decayed soldiers.
I still do think that it's a good idea for a 47 enchanter to get used to KC though.
The more experience they get, the less they will mess up later.

You're not trying to charm anything that high at that level. You want to keep a lower level NPC charmed so it will break less.

fair point, but some people live dangerously, aka charm the biggest mob, haste it, give it weapons, buff it's strength, send it to kill.

There's a pretty huge difference in DPS between a hasted decayed soldier and a low level curate.

I guess at 47 though even a drovlarg would be fine. but when that level 49 comes, obby [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Thats fine if you have mana free rez on hand, and someone good at helping manage charm breaks, but even so I’d prefer the consistency of a curate.

There's been quite a few of those clicky clerics in karnor lately.
Would be one more if I could get together a group for the overking and ragefire. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
