I'm Tired, Boss...
Story:
Go to check one of my favorite camps, but it's camped. Oh well. Hanging out in zone killin some other stuff for the mean time. Check my /who and see that the person camping my desired spot went LD. Maybe they're done? Quote:
15 mins later, they log back in. Quote:
There's been times where I've been trying to be slick and camp 2 different camps on 2 different toons. One time after a few hours camping 2 named with this method, I swapped toons to kill PH at camp #2 - but when I logged back into camp #1, someone had set up there. "Ah damn!" I chuckled to myself. The jig is up. I acknowledged the person's claim to camp #1 (because I wasn't maintaining a constant presence there) Name spawned, dropped the rare loot. Oh well. Such is EQ. There was one time I was sitting at a camp for hours and hours and I de-synced. Before I could /exit the ping bar started dropping . 99%.... 92%... 79%.. damn! I tried to log back in but was 1018 and couldn't get back. 5 mins later when I finally did, another player was at the camp I had been holding for hours. Oh well. That sucks, but them's the rules. "Good luck!" I said and logged for the day. I just conceded the camp to REDACTED and logged off. I'm exhausted of dealing with players that can't just accept the server rules and the player agreements about camps. I can't imagine how the CSR feels about it.

You did the nice thing and probably avoided a stupid conversation. Technically could have just said “you weren’t here when I got here”. If the PH or Named is up it’s even harder to argue.
The few times it seems people bend the rule for community sake is Chardok farmers. Still isn’t by the book, just more neighborly.

You almost made an rnf post, next time we need the camp thief’s name and his rebuttal in here though. 6/10

IMO it was Michael. He has a low 50s barbarian shaman. I wouldn't throw heat at Michael by name either.

Redacted is the stupidest name for any class of barbarian anyways.
Should be banned for the name in any case. That is my take away of the situation.

Azure Guard's Sol B train was the worst I ever saw, you had mobs pathing everywhere all because they wanted to get FTE on a Naggy with 80+ people.
What's worse is they all high fived and grats'd each other on the kill as we died.
