Where to go as a level 47 enchanter?
Per the title, I am looking for advice as to where to go as a level 47 enchanter. Raw experience is fine, experience and loot is better. I am noob with regards to what exists in the game post level 40, but I am confident in my ability to play the class well. Any guidance from veterans is much appreciated!

at 47, you could do giants in everfrost.
They are massive money gain, and exp. you could probably do seafurries too. city of mist is always a popular group area, karnor maybe once you get 2 more levels. Maybe crystal cavern geonids? I don't know what level cutoff they are at. There's always lower guk as well. I died so many times in lower guk.... so many times... If you can manage it, crystalline shardwurms are really good for gems. tons of star rubies and possible spell drops. They might be a little bit too high though for you. The Hole is some amazing exp if you can get into a group. My advice is that if you're going the solo route, then know what you can and cant afford to bullshit your way into and out of.... if you're going the group route, remember that everyone always needs clarity. They will bend over backwards and spread both of them wide for that crack. Kinda like cleric, you can sometimes get into higher level area groups just for having clarity. at 47, you might be able to get into karnor groups, though your lack of allure might hurt, that's at 49.

Don't listen to Rim he is terrible at this game.
@47: If you want to make sure your charm skills are up to par, go hit City of Mist. Solo at the arena or moat. It should be easy. There is tons of room to work with, outdoor zone so you can utilize jboots / sow pots / friendly in-zone buffs in case you need to make a run for the exit. If it isn't easy you're not ready for HS. CoM floor 2 is also an option when moat/arena greens out. You go to the right-hand side camp (forget the name) opposite of stables, go up to the top of the pyramid, lev across, and you're up. First time could be a little tricky, there is a mix of both undead and non, the goos see invis, etc. You can bind sight / lull, get a feel for the roamers pattern. If there are no goos in the path to arena roof, try to snag a double invis from someone in the zone. Then its ez pz. Ultimately you're gonna need to get up there and get over to the top of arena. You can bind up there and take a good look down onto floor 2 and see all the spawns and make a plan for your clear. Its 100% safe for AFK, recovery, etc. Also can lev down to go trade buffs too with fellow CoM campers and just gate back up top. Godspeed. I prefer HS myself. Hit up Kaesora and go get your key when you're ready.

It was pretty stupid but worked decently enough in that he was the only one who died (repeatedly). Tox gives good advice here.

47 is what I always considered to be the last super easy level, because it's the last level where Level 35 MOBs (which exist in abundance without difficulty) remain blue. Steamfont is great, there are a bunch of Level 35's in close proximity to the windmill and the faction hit on Gnomes is irrelevant.
If you don't care about your faction, there are variety of Elf guards that can get you to Level 55 and are solid loot - go sell the equipment that drops at the Steamfont druid circle, if there isn't anyone around to vendor it for you (that's one of THE most Classic Everquest transactions - low level characters making some money by vendoring/banking for people hunting guards). Highkeep is a similar situation, a variety of NPC's to kill there, although tends to be more contested. Halas also has a bunch of Level 40's to fight, but might be empty these days if you're looking for someone to vendor for you. A bit further down the road, Neriak and Butcherblock/Kaladim can get you all the way to Level 60 if you want. Spirocs in Timorous Deep are easy and can take you into the 50's. Nice scenery. Not great loot however. Tower of Frozen Shadow is great ZEM if you want to bother with the keying process, and Kedge Kedge if you want to bother with the tricky underwater combat and movement. Quote:
KC group should still take an Enchanter at 47 too. Just don't depend on them for CC. Clarity, Haste, and a Level 40 charm pet is already enough to pull their weight.

People go crazy for crack since it's, quite literally, a gamechanger. on a more ironic note, 47 was also when I went to KC with my cleric. Personally I agree though that 49 is better for KC for enchanter, simply for allure. That, too, is a gamechanger. What's weird though is that I NEVER hear anyone go so heavy to bat for charsis. Heck, I only get ress requests there once every 3 months... even Lord Gongo is more relevant. I'm sure it's probably a nice niche zone though. [You must be logged in to view images.
