LOL... no depth, no traveling, no items, no classes, no races, no factions, no dungeons, not hardcore. What most people are arguing with me is they think I want easier. Those changes I mentioned would make it harder. I really think blizzard knew what the majority of people really wanted, they want easy mode. There is a reason I don't play WoW, too easy, but it sounds like a game for all you power levelers, twinkers, and soloers.

Reason why WoW did so well was because the majority of people aren't hardcore and like to play games casually, and in the end, it's all about the money.

To be honest, it doesn't sound like you want a new server, it sounds like you want a new game, cause all those things you're asking for isn't EQ at all.

You shouldn't be getting upset at seeing twinks with fungi tunics or power leveling, just play your game the way you want to play, it would be pretty easy not to ask for SoW, ports, or buffs from high level players. People play this game the way THEY want to play it, even those twinks.

You got me. I spend all day on my 60 chanter using an animation to clear orc 2. I would do orc 1, except I can zone to WC quick from orc 2 if I run into any trouble + Shin Ree scares the bejeebers out of me, ya know?

And what is of substance in your thread? You wanting to have something you won't achieve because you find it blasphemic that people can port/sow/teleport/snare/fd/twink/ etc. Yeah, totally a grand post. There are games for you, typically they're called farmville.

Play the way I want to... kind of hard when a powerleveler comes in and wrecks an entire low level dungeon. Someone twinked out to a lesser degree. Either way those people aren't grouping which is the way I want to play. Gang up on me all you want. I'm obviously in the minority. I don't want farmville. I like a good hardcore game. Twinking, powerleveling, kiting all make it less hardcore. I would rather there just be a button for all of you powerlevelers and severe twinkers to start at level 60. Why the damn rush.

Go start on sleeper server. there is no twinking,powerlevel,Kiting(due to group xp being so much better then solo xp).

That's the thing though, you're trying to make people play the way YOU want to play. It's true, you are the minority. I'm sure there are other people who feel the same way you do, but I think most people don't mind twinking/PLing/kiting. I don't think people are ganging up on you, I think most people disagree with what you're saying is all.

I've heard some good things about The Sleeper server, so your best bet is probably to try that out since it's still fresh and there's not much high level toons there yet. In the future though, there will be twinking / PLing on that server, but till then, you can enjoy yourself.

Well it wasn't meant to cause such an emotional response from people, but it did. So I guess by the very definition, it appears like a troll post. But it wasn't meant to be. I was a little fearful that I would get the kind of response I did because it does seem like most people like twinking, powerleveling, kiting, etc. But I also thought, there would be at least some people who do not like those things that might respond. I was sincere and I am still hopeful for an alternate ruleset server to be made more in line with what I like. Probably won't happen and that's ok, will wait to see what Everquest Next offers.

I understand where you're coming from - whether you wanted a serious discussion or not. We all know those things go on in any MMO. Those things will always happen and that will not change here. You either have to accept this or move on.

We all do what we want within the boundaries of the game. Some roleplayed, some raided hardcore, and some wanted it more challenging than designed. Hell, some people just signed on to chat! Nobody likes griefers but they're here, too! The creators wanted it to be OUR world as much as theirs. That's what made it so successful. They never did tailor it to any concept but theirs and they won't do that here, either. It wouldn't be the same game.

So with that in mind, who's to stop you from making some of those adjustments yourself to add some challenge? I used to raid without pants and nobody ever stopped me!

P.S. Ya know, perfect time to bring this up...this server needs to bring back pantsing! One of our GM's on live used to go to zones just to pants unsuspecting players. Oh man, so much hilarity. Big raid target and an AFK player? Pantsed and screenshotted for all.
