Since Nilbog's house blew away in a tsunami, I imagine they want to delay the server launch till him and Rogean can inspect it and make sure it's actually somewhat representative of EQ classic PvP. Nobody has really said what this server is supposed to be.

I imagine since the word P1999 will probably be somewhere in the title, it would be the first option and they want to make sure Null doesn't go crazy while nobody is looking and be like:
