Republicans are going to have in fighting for the remainder of the next two years going into 2024.

They will be humiliated at the low turn out - helping for 2026.

2028 will come around and hopefully some sense will come that their own hate campaign they are running isn't working. Especially after it lost them midterms and will soon lose them 2024.

Just more time to get rid of their boomer base and grow those progressive left leaning cities.

If three successive electoral defeats didn't teach them anything, I doubt five is going to be different. These dumb motherfuckers are going to their graves screaming about how Trump was robbed and only partied with Epstein because he had a secret plan to expose him.

my thinking is the evangelical right with act now for the same reasons Putin is acting now in Russia, demographic shifts, hell the republicans even got caught having a internal meeting about demographics and losing power over a decade ago iirc and the language then was pretty fiery before trump even emerged on the political scene.
