Shared government means nothing of substance can get passed. I think we should auto-rotate the branches of government every 4 years and if your proposed plan has a greater than 4 year turnaround, then you better hope it’s good enough for the other party to keep it going. That is a ridiculous dorm room idea of government. Nothing of substance passes already. Republicans successfully stripping the rights of millions of people isn't sound policy.
It also reeks of the fallacy of the middle. The midpoint between Democrat and Republican policy is still a conservative range of acceptable ideas, as both parties are right of the center themselves. I have no idea why people listen to Elon Musk on politics. | ||
