It's insane it's gone on for this long. Absolutely ruins the red experience.

It's not even like this is a bug related to a specific weapon combination where you would have needed to find an obscure exploit. You can double your DPS by switching from a normal 1hander to a normal 2hander.

This would have been found, exploited and patched within a couple days on live, had it existed in that era. Which it didn't...

Is the fix a technical issue related to the client? If not, why is it still there?

the culture of hatred for red on these forums became en vogue when the pve community was frustrated waiting for velious development. they considered any time or attention on red to come at the expense of velious development so they actively slandered and act rude to the pvp community hoping our server would die and we would leave and would "no longer threaten to delay velious"

their plan worked so well thats still the active forum culture to this day, with newbies regurgitating talking points without even being around for velious development unaware of why the slander campaign was started.

that is why all pvp or red threads are trolled by dozens of angry weirdos

I just troll the people that post about red because there are probably 100 red forum warriors for ever 1 active red player. Funny how much time is spent advocating for a server that even the advocates don't play.

To be fair, when you have a mechanic as borked as this archery mechanic, that functionally screws up the entirety of the PVP aspect of the server, its of 0 surprise the server is dead.
