Game Mechanics: Night Vision Changes (Oct 2001)

Importantly: Yup, that was intentional. We made the night vision for characters without any special vision abilities just a little better.

This post is from Oct 3, 2001. This would put it near the end of the project's timeline, but still within the timeline. I think they must be referring to a late September patch here.. there were several.

I have no idea what they mean by better. There's a 2nd post on this page that describes that nightvision has improved as well.

Would this have put vision back to the way it used to be on p99... or was it much more minor?
