I think Andy McKee and his style of "music" is shitty and annoying. Gimmick guitar playing.

Even if you don't like his style of music, this guy can play, I love me some Andy Mckee......

First link is one that most people tend to be most impressed with, tho honestly Im burned out on it.
Off topic here, but why would you advertise a <1 kill to death ratio on whatever game that is in your sig? Doesnt that suck? A lot?

The REAL truth is,

They just aren't heavy enough for my sensibilities , are they talented technically? Yes. Can they ozone your brain from rhythm? Probably not.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xOcUbaAH0bY

Can induce chemical reactions in your brain if you bump the bass high enough
What's funny is that you probably haven't even listened to these guys if all you can say about them is "technically talented." Each one of these men *is* in fact technically talented, but that technical ability is the LEAST of what makes them great guitar players. Ah well, ignorance is bliss my friend, ignorance is bliss.

Candyrat is amazing. Antoine Dufour, one of the best acoustics I've ever heard.

I agree that Petrucci has some AMAZING emotion/feeling in his playing (thought lately DT albums make me cringe). Love the Petrucci and Rudess live album.

NO mention of Marty Friedman????

Mine would have to be Marty Friedman. Very underated guitar player. Tornado of souls solo is sooo beautiful. Reminds me of a living Randy Rhoads in a certain way.

Malmstein is ok very talented in shredding , but everything sounds similar. He reminds me of Zakk Wyld. Very skillful can play anything , but can't write solos worth shit. I like my guitar players not only to play well , but to write good shit as well. Listen to Joe Satriani song Rubina < beautiful song>
Or liquid tensions "Osmosis" talent comes in all genres with guitar. Marty Friedman plays multiple genres
Cant forget the Marty Friedman
