The #2 guy would be #2 forever without people killing it and getting the drop right? Why would he leave? He's gotta wait no matter what if he wants that BP, even if he has to get people for it after the current #1 get the BP. Item politicks is so weird. It'd be cool to get Ruby stuff for my ranger, but hearing the wait times makes me lose all interest. I'm not that thirsty for 1s and 0s.

Glad I'm not the only one who found the situation ridiculous. I was still there. I was still helping down mobs even though I didn't get xp.

And he didn't just expect us to leave, he demanded it. I had been there several hours at that point. There was no discussion of keeping the group going, there was a message that he had 5 people willing to come help since he was #1 on the list. I said it didn't matter to me. Why would it? I'm #2 on the list. They showed up and started killing stuff, I helped. Then I started getting tells demanding that I leave and telling me how terrible I am because I didn't.
