The degree to which people here over estimate the impact of /guildwar is absurd. You realize its completely consensual like a /duel right? Raid guilds aren't just going to war up every few days during a contested raid or some shit.

While I like the idea of the /guildwar mechanic, your ideas about motivating rewards don't really work in the current P99 meta. You have a top guild and then one or two others who can occasionally contest in ToV etc.
There's no real scenario where the risk/reward is worth it for the top guild. Why would they engage in a guildwar that could result in them getting locked out of targets just to get a monopoly on targets that they already have a near monopoly on? Just not really a good call for any top guild to engage in. | ||
