I think we are morally obliged to go back and occupy Afghanistan.

It is going to be a literal hell hole if we dont.

If all it takes is 5k troops to allow 12 year old kids there to not be ripped from their families and turned into sex slaves then so be it.

I thought like in 2019 when they started talking about this withdrawal, it was like, 2500 of 5k troops we had there.. then it became the full 5k?

That was my lack of in-depth understanding.. I was surprised there were so few there these last X years? Idk.. how wrong am I am curious?

Hows come American can train troops to go to combat in less than six months but other countries need us there for twenty years to teach them? And they still can't do it. That bothered me when La Bush was prez too.
