Girlfriend dragged me to an acro yoga session today. She's been doing it a while and I agreed to join her if she agreed to join me in the gym lol.

Had a pretty good time actually. After an hour or so we were already moving through a number of flows. Seemed like a pretty good workout. And a fun test of functional strength compared to the general numbers game of moving iron around in the gym.

Would recommend.

“Why is he this upset about a guy not wearing a shirt?” - Charle

Uh, because there’s RULES in gyms for a reason. Because if there wasn’t a shirts required rule, every bro with a better physique than this guy (which is a lot of people) would be going shirtless in the gym. Or how about no pants? How about if you like how you look naked, you can just be naked in there. I’m sure that will do good for the “it has been [x] days since the last public molestation” counter….

That being said, it’s staff’s job to throw out that self-loving narcissist shirtless bro

Big bend was better than I imagined. It’s still fucking hot in Texas though, even this late in the year

I’m shocked I didn’t see 500 illegals based on what the news tells me

Last time I vacationed in Cali went off the beaten path. If you make out to west coast ever for sight seeing Big Sur area worth checking out. Slightly north of that on the way to SF are Depression era brick bridges that are both antiques and functional. Bixby Bridge if I'm recalling it right. They aren't made like that anymore. While south of Big Sur you have San Louise Obispo and Pismo Beach areas. Completely different vibe compared to Tx National Park if you do up the Pacific Coast Highway on the 1 / 101. Certain parts are cinematic. You can tell certain movies were shot on those roads as you drive.

A bit dry, but definitely one of the most objective perspectives on the vaccine IMO

Amazed the doc isn’t cancelled for mentioning vaccine risks, even though he mentions greater covid risks alongside it. I thought mentioning vaccine risks was a big no no

Still doing hard cardio with the vaxx AND covid and no heart attack (yet)

In November I have a 6 mile Kayak race down and up the Colorado river, 3 miles down, 3 miles up

Interested to see what going up will be like, apparently there are spots where the flow isn’t as bad, but obviously going up there can be no resting without a loss of ground

Luckily Dad and I can already go 6 miles with almost no break. He has a super fast $2000 racing yak and can probably beat all the other 70yr olds, considering he can beat me

I’ll be holding him back, but we gonna stay together

Isaiah 43 verse 2: “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, And through the river, they will not overflow you”

This will be our first time, pics from previous races put on by this event:
