At the time I wasn't necessarily poor, but I definitely wasn't rich. For me it was hard to wrap my head around the idea of buying Cataclysm and and a subscription and leveling a toon just to probably get perma banned from the forums again. Did buy the game and 60 day subs for a couple of friends for the RAF mounts (the rocket, and the cinderflame mount).
