Default Everquest Tabletop RPG

Heya - I remember a thread on this many many moons ago but can't find it. Anyone play the D20 EQ RPG? Got any adventures / maps /etc to share? The old eq-rpg.com site is toasted so the free mini-adventures are gone (assuming there were some) all thats left is a charsheet and excerpts from the books, which I have.

I'm DMing (first time DMing, haven't even played since High School in the 80s!) a game for some friends and kids this week and just using D&D stuff, but some real EQ specific adventures would be fun. I'll probably end up creating some too, want to trade?

Regards,
Mg

I never got to play it (didn't know any EQ IRL) but I have the first edition books still.

I DM'd a campaign for about 2 years when it came out. It was actually a ton of fun [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] From 4-6 players, went from level 1 to about 18 or so. I repurposed some old D&D mods for EQRPG (i made Myth Drannor into Takish Hiz, Monte Cook's Banewarrens I put in Freeport). I remember it took me a lot of time to convert into a more EQRPG feel (although when pressed for time I just grabbed mobs out of the EQRPG monster manual of the same level and threw them at the party)

Anyway, I have the original sample adventure PDF from eqrpg.com but I'm looking around to see if I have any other files. If you wanna PM me your email I can send em to ya. (hmm I also found the 3rd level adventure and the Pet stats PDF)

You can't access it with the wayback machine, they had a robots.txt that didn't allow crawling the site, alas.

I'll stick to D&D...

If I tried to roleplay an EQ campaign it'd be me training the fuck out of everyone and everything.

I want to train the wizard because I want to hear him scream in a high pitched noise while he gets trampled.

Ok roll.

Alright go ahead.
