That wasn't the nature of my criticism. I don't have kids. I want to know why we think the state needs to be involved in "preventing" this sort of "harm", while we ignore other things that are legal for parents to do that cause more harm.

Why this one specific issue? It's incredibly unlikely, and sets a terrible precedent that a just supreme court would invalidate, if we had one.

You think it’s ok for a 13 year old boy to get castrated by a “medical professional” because he thinks he’s a girl? That is fucking irreversible and will likely lead to a lifetime of issues. if you can’t understand that, there is no point in going on.

we aren't tryin to make fun of the trans position here, we do plenty of that otherwise

we're 100% in the right on the issue and there isn't any other way of looking at it

we're not debating parenting styles, like home school vs public or vax vs anti vax

I haven’t listened to a lot of de-transition regrets, but one theme I’ve heard is trans men wanting to make a manly voice from a bio woman voice, and thinking test is the way. It is somewhat, but it can come out raspy or some sort of in between off-sounding tone. They are the ones mentioning it also, as a disappointment. I’m not sure of its permanence with a de-transition

Fuck that pussy, go get a diagnosis like a real man. when I was 30 a shrink started talking about it, asking me questions etc then he diagnosed me with autism spectrum disorder. my life didn't change at all, other then I was relieved that I'm not a sociopath. used to worry me back when like, someone would die and I'd be like "eh" while everyone else is crying on the floor. i just experience emotion differently, or so they tell me.

Other countries have many adolescent boys choosing to become girls and it isn't a problem. It is only America and their sick Christian population.

If a child is doing more harm to themselves and clinically depressed then how are you to know what is best for them?

You aren't a specialist, you aren't the child or their parent and for that matter nor am I.
