Could someone explain to me the <Awakened> "raid suspension" please?

Ahoy da mates.
I am still very new to the Project1999 (20th May) and I dont know all rules and storys about it yet.
Anyway, Ive seen and read a bit on the flame forum about "<Awakened> getting a raid suspension" etc., but most of those posts were sarcastic, dumb, nonsence, funny etc. so that I still dont understand this fully.

- Is ther any offical thread about it? (couldt find it). If not, how come the whole server know about it but not me?
- What <Awakened> actually did to get a raid suspension?
- is it ther first suspension?
- how common/rare are such suspension here?

Whats an FTE?

FTE = First to Engage. Raid targets on this server send a zone wide message to let raiders know who engaged the mob to avoid kill stealing.

All raid suspensions are posted in the Raid Discussion forum. Only certain people have permission to post in that forum, so you don't really see a lot of activity there.

The reasons basically any guild gets suspended from raiding are: 1) They engaged a raid target without having rightful FTE (first to engage, the message broadcasted to the zone by the raid target when they pounce on someone), and 2) They tried to take out the competition (by training or some other tactic) so they could get an FTE on a raid target. Standard time for suspension is 1 week so they miss a round of raid targets.

The reason Awakened is getting so much attention this time is because Rogean slapped an extension on them after a few members harassed staff members after an earthquake occurred at the beginning of their initial suspension.

Well, there are also certain rules raid guilds abide by to allow for competition. You cannot be parked in the vicinity of the target you want to engage and the only people allowed near the spawn is a tracker so that you can see when it spawns. This tracker cannot engage the raid target and especially is not allowed to send out an FTE message.

Awakened initially got suspended because they logged a character in at Nagafen who got FTE but they reset the Dragon and continued to kill it anyway. This is not allowed. The normal procedure is to concede that spawn and try again next week.
