I played p99 years ago and was really excited to play again, I was half expecting the setup to be a little more streamlined but instead its seems like its been overcomplicated to a degree to make it ridiculously difficult on purpose. Ive already spent way too much time trying to fight tooth and nail to get everything to work but nothing has worked as it should so I have had to circumvent all the instructions given and now ive ran into roadblocks with eqemu, im just done at this point and i think its just ridiculous that after all these years this community hasnt tried to improve access to new players, instead it seems your actively trying to deter any new players from joining. Wont be the first fan server to disappear or the last, anyways enjoy your classic eq while its still around.

i wish i knew what specific problems you were having. p99 definitely isn't the easiest thing to set up, but nowhere did i feel it was "actively trying to make it difficult".

The P99 installation is very easy if you've spent more than 10 minutes using a computer in your life. Instead of whining you could actually list the problems you're having and someone should have a solution.
