wage labor is what literally brought schools, agriculture, and freedom to the world.

The industrial revolution saved the planet.

Then the democrats who lost all their slaves in the civil war, moved all their factories to china.

In the 21st century, if you live in an advanced country all scarcity is manufactured, not natural, barring water. Water, you are on your own.

Wage labor is as "sociologically addicting" as slavery was. It will take most of this century to unwind the fiction that we have to sweat to eat, and that's in the advanced countries.

Other countries, yeah, still gotta sweat to eat. But surprisingly less than last century.

History does not care about our addictions.
freeman fly says/said quit your job and live off faith. I regrettably agree with you.

If it wasn't for the industrial revolution, your criminal ancestors wouldn't have been shipped to australia, and you'd have never been born.

I mean, we are. This moment in time if you can believe it, is one of the most exciting moments in human history.

Isn't it a pity, as George Harrison sang, that some have eyes so filled with tears, their eyes can't hope to see / the beauty that surrounds them / isn't it a pity.

No faith. No trust. Nothing that even appears as safe harbor except cynicism or nihilism about the state of the world.

Isn't it a shame.

If not for the industrial revolution your aamerican Indian betters wouldnt have been smashed the edge of extinction.

Also you'd never have been born. Unless you are 100% native American Indian.

I can be insulting too!

you should lean into how tough and rugged a person would have had to be in order to survive just the trip to Oz let alone build a life there

it's also really inconvenient to mention that native american tribes existed in a perpetual state of war with each other with each tribe's #1 goal being to kill all the men and take all the women as slaves

inflicting a level of unimaginable brutality on one another that makes a gunshot wound look like a papercut
