All they have to do is put A. or B. at the end of your Screen login name. Example Jungleboy99 as a login(fake) account name Becomes Jungleboy99g or Jungleboy99b depending on the character list you want to load. This allows a Full merger of all Characters Flawlessly with almost no work other then adding the Qualifier to the login script. Duplicate names I have Zero empathy The Oldest holder of a name by accounts creation day gets the name.

Pretty sure when they did server merges back in the day on live servers, they added an x to the end of duplicate names. So, yeah, that sounds about right.

I listened to some old Sirken interviews on youtube. Rogean, etc. were talking about server mergers in like 2013. I can't believe with that much preparation they fucked up in such an obvious way, if duplicate name/account character limit bullshit is indeed a major roadblock. I don't know anything and even I could have anticipated that problem.

I don’t know, but I really wish they’d merge blue and green. I play on both, but the fractured community, when both servers are on the same time line makes no sense. I have a bunch of 60’s on blue that are just rotting because the only thing there is to do over there is raid, the rest of the game is pretty much dead. Really disappointing. I miss my blue toons

I just love the low level game under the new server smell. It’s the beat way to do 1-20ish.

You should really go back and read the launch announcements instead of flipping out. They very clearly explained that this isn't a problem that prevents merging and how it would work.
