Or so the loosing open world raid guild can still use their power against some casual. | ||

The /list function can be used to make it even more clear. Players must /list themselves at any contested spawn point, they get taken off if they die or zone out, and they get dropped to the bottom of the list after taking their turn at killing the spawn. OFC, the ideal rule would be everything is open and group contribution determines who gets the kill every time ("contribution" being not just DPS but also factoring in all spells cast by a group while the NPC was aggroed, eg - Paladins and Clerics are low DPS but casting stun or heal still contributes to the overall factor of which group wins the race). But if we must be stuck with a more artificial way of doing things, the classic play nice policy is at least better than the non-classic version.
