I'd like to thank Fearghus for making me laugh with his silly post-tags.

eee! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] (at all the posts give flavor to the general zeitgeist)

hey GM's. not to bother you guys AT ALL- considering what you are doing (and what I may be joining if I can get the 5 steps right once titanium comes in- I stare at all my old disks)- why I wouldn't even THINK of griefing, begging or whatever unless I have tried all other options fist- not even complain about game dynamics, I mean Come on!, free, right? geez...

but.....

Rumor was at one time (in the live old days) that GM's and guides secretly "soul stamped" people. this was something not seen to anyone but the uber secret GM type peoples with green names.
It was also said that such "soul stamps" were precious things.

Would anyone know of these things? did they really exist? (oh- from Firiona Vie originally, never moved. just FYI)

Funny story. I asked Jewce to enchant some platinum for me. He enchanted it but wouldn't give it back to me until I donated to him.
That definitely never happened...

You could make notes against a character name on the guide interface, and call up the notes history from all gms / guides to see if you were dealing with a douche in advance.

Generally I only remember the notes being about warnings and behaviour issues, rarely saw a good note and had to issue a number of them myself.

They may of been another level that only GM's saw, couldn't comment on that.

K.

Praise and warn were both types of soulmarks. Praise was mostly used as more of a neutral note to keep track of name changes and other things like that.

I want to thank Alcandre. I'm still wearing the small bronze, crested mm shield and charred guardian bp he gave to me after a small deal where I bought a couple pieces of bronze in Kelethin one night.

Thanks to my old friend Rikrais who found me and gave me a BIM, staff of the observers and other goodies for my wife's druid.

You two made getting started on the server a lot easier!

I can't remember the dwarf who gave me 10pp in Erudin the night I started P99. Filled my inventory and bank with bags, sewing kit, and supplied spells until into my teens.

Thanks to my old friend Dravyen who I knew from Live who gave me the world after he found me online.
