![]() Hello, I tried to play Project 1999 on Green Server and I got a Barbarian Shaman up to level 8 and quit the game. I also made a new character Human Cleric in Qeynos and quit the game at level 4. I do like the graphics of the game, the music and I set up my chat boxes but I don't really enjoy playing the game mostly because it's too difficult and the penalty for death especially later in the game is high and you lose all your inventory. It's just not a casual game... Now I only play Counter-Strike 2 rarely and I'm waiting for BATTLEFIELD 6 and Restitched (that new LittleBIGPlanet game on Steam).
Are there any other good MMOs to play right now? I've tried Old School RuneScape and didn't like it. I gave up because I don't like the gameplay. I tried Tibia and liked the tutorial island, it was way more fun than RuneScape. However I left and went to the Thais city and now I don't know where to go and I don't really wanna spend 100 hours into Tibia or EverQuest just to learn how to play the game. Or is Tibia worth it and does not require as many hours as Project 1999 just to learn the game and have fun? I do like Tibia and it's a German game apparently, which is where I live. Even though Germans don't play Tibia when you go on Twitch and see it. I've played Guild Wars 2 for like 200 hours and quit the game also because I realized it wasn't fun and it just wasted your time. How many hours do you even need to learn Project 1999 and be reasonably good at it? I learned that Enchanters are the best experience for groups and Necromancers if you want to solo through the game. Is it worth it learning the game? I would prefer to play an easy casual MMO right now. What's the best one? World of Warcraft? I have never played WoW yet. You know just an MMO that you can pick up easily and have fun with. Because it seems most MMOs especially old ones require at least 100 hours of learning... I also don't want to watch cutscenes and read in FF XIV. What MMO can you recommend for me?

![]() Getting to lvl 4 and 8 can be done almost without learning anything important.
I cant help you learn but i did notice you say you lose all of your inventory. Do you mean you lose everything and need to gather them again? Do you know to find and loot your own body? EQ is difficult and punishing, especially clueless (which you seem) and solo. Thats all i have for now. Sounds like you do need a candy crush type game though. Just sayen.

![]() Im legit in shock that the answer is, no.
It's true, all the other MMO's are fuckn lame. Not a single mmo, not a single one, even scratches the itch that everquest gave us. Cazy to me. It's insane. Like ,there's 800,000 survival games (which are hard and suck and are totally unfun) and people fucking gobble them up, but EQ is too hard core to clone? Makes fucking no sense to me I hate this world. Now you might understand why I am praying that jesus will fly down and cut everyones head off with a flaming sword.

![]() Hogwarts Legacy would make a great MMO but they chose to make it single player.
I legit think it would make a great MMO if they just added norrath to it. (but called it whatever the world of harry potter is).

![]() Oh you know what every now and again I will install the Star Wars Old Republic MMO and grind through the main storyline. It's got EQ gameplay, but in the star wars world, which I like. And there are cool cinimatics.
It may as well be a single player RPG though I literally do not play with other people at all. But they do exist on the server so it's technically an MMO.
