Look at the auctions in gfay for shiny brass halberd and executioner hood. They were a big deal back then. EC tunnel wasn't really a thing yet

It depended on your server. Some had ec tunnel, some had faymart. A few had both.

shiny brass is my favorite weapon in classic as i had it on 3 characters 1 of which i got it myself [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

next is mino axes

either of those would take any melee into the 20's ez

i even got a pvp kill with a shiny brass and a tarnished halbered in my belts on original RZ (I did sorta gank the guy with HT after he killed his lioness tho)
