Default Toejam and Earl

One of the original two creators of Toejam and earl launched a kickstarter to create a new game. The goal is to create a real sequel to the original without limiting or dictating how it should be made as the second and third games were. If anyone played this game on Sega and really get a kick in the nostalgia thinking about it, please think of backing. It'd be great to see this get made.

Gotta say, I prefer the playstyle of Panic on Funkotron and this one just doesn't have the same feel.. It doesn't look like an alien planet, and none of the funk/obnoxiousness that made the first two games awesome.

It's weird, someone linked me this and was like OG TOEJAM AND EARL GAMEPLAY FUCK YEA

and I was pretty disappointed because I was familiar with what I guess is the 2nd game on the Genesis

Loved the first Toejam and Earl back in the day, but if they want to make a sequel of the original, they should do it in 2D and keep it to the Megadrive/Genesis theme.

That art "style"... looks terrible. I think I'd prefer something 2D.

Haha wow, I used to play the hell out of that game on Genesis. But everyone is right, that art style is not what id like to see from Toejam & Earl.

Great now I'll have to go dig up my sega and TJ&E cartridge.

Getting to level 0 was more fun than getting back to funkatron
10/10 game will check out this kickstarter for sure!

Are you kidding me? I'm in love with this new art style it's straight up Rocko's Modern Life! Plus you're telling me I can chill-step all over funkatron as Earl? Count me in. Toejam and Earl, and Rocko's Modern Life were two of my favorite things in the 90's. This is a bit too much for me haha.

^ At 1st glance this looked similar
Bitd had Sega Genesis and also played T&E1 too
Shining Force was cool too.
