I just see myself as an insoluble mote floating around a solution. I can observe interactions but feel absolutely no connection to my surroundings.

It really doesn't seem like anyone has humanities best interest at heart, its all a power struggle to keep the other group down and collect as many resources as possible during your up time. Look at members of congress and their wealth; Dictating down upon the unwashed masses. The young and new members quickly being ushered into the collective and enjoying the presumed finer things in life.

Being part of the rabble bleating and guffawing which way or that is entirely a wasted effort.

If a conversation is fun and people are having fun, introduce a political discussion to quickly ruin the evening.
