Has it ever worked properly?

Are you on Titanium Client?

What are your PC specs?

All the more reason not to die [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

1274mb gfx memory sounds like some of it might be shared memory?

Assuming a clean re-install of the game data doesnt fix anything, I would start there by disabling the BIOS's ability to grant system memory to your video card. And turn off any overclocking.

What connection does that have to dying? I have no idea. eqgame.exe is bizzare. You might try disabling your sound (via device manager) and seeing if it crashes when you die then, too.

I would definitely start with a full reinstall. Once you reinstall look in my signature for an automated and easy way to set the game up to run with the server without doing anything manually.

The problem here could be a corrupt or missing file that it is trying to load upon death and it causes the crash. It could be a ton of other things though. A fresh restart of Titanium is a good start though.
