It was ez 1:1 - I never dipped below 50% Actually thats not true, at one point when she was at about 30% she started hitting me pretty hard and I guess my RNG was off, because I had to swap to my lifetap weapons but that got me to full and i went back to DPS and had no issues.. she wasn't enraged so idk. I Feel like mobs on this server get harder around 30% but that's prob just conspiracy thinking.

During the fight I swapped from duel wield, to shield/dagger (war/sk/rog) and I get a 20% damage increase in mainhand when I use one because the War. I'm gonna take this guy back to the sleeper maybe tonight to try that and see if I can down that mob this time!

I toasted Yelinak last night so not sure how he compares... but says he is level 70? Is he usually hard? or is he ez on p99?

Right on! If you look on the THJ discord community tools channel, there's a link to a parser that's been updated for THJ. I've been impressed using it!

I know that some of the encounters have been customized (e.g., sleeper), it wouldn't surprise me if each expansion's major bosses were modified a little to hit harder at 30%

I never killed Yeli (frankly, I forgot about him), but if you can take Tunare I'm assuming you'll be able to take on Sleeper!

So how you like the monk? what are your top 3 AA's that make you like it?

Mine for war are:

Rage of Rallos Zek (this is incredible!)
Blade Shield (this is great)
Rampage (on trains it's like a full heal mend! but useless for 1v1 raid fights)

My biggest problem is 1v1 raid fights. But what I make up for in AOE pulls I feel is a good balance.

but you can bazaar port at will, like a 2min cooldown?? I've stumbled upon 9 EoM's now just by masse pulling DN (for AA's) and UP (for mad cash) and was able to unlock that tele right back to my private instances. no need to buy those krono-lites!

I'm jealous about the AAs that warriors / zerks get! I watch someone on youtube who is playing a PAL/MNK/ZERK and man... all of the zerker AAs he gets to play with! While there are some good monk only AAs, there is also quite a bit over overlap with either Rogue or with SK/PAL/WAR. Thus, as a SK/ROG/MNK I'm potentially missing out on other "synergies" due to the significant overlap of the monk AAs with my other class AAs. Minor gripe.

Top AAs:
Destructive Force (your melee attacks become AoE but at only 25% of original value)
Imitate Death (amazing FD but maybe not as helpful given rogue's shroud of stealth and SK's FD ability)
Rapid Strikes/Technique of Master Wu/return kick (passive abilities to grant more attacks)

As you can see, nothing sexy. I was reading on a non THJ site that way Way of Steel might actually proc even when not using hand 2 hand (the proc is fists of fury), so I've probably been missing out on that.

Really the monk is bringing the chance to block, decent white damage, and ability to use Shinai of the ancients ha. If I were to drop a class, it would be the monk (have been contemplating SK/ROG/WIZ or SK/ROG/BRD).

I actually don't miss having gate, the "back to bazar" portal is really all I need as I gave the teleporter dude 5 EoM and thus he's able to teleport me back to my "expedition" which is convenient.

I run war/nec/shm and RoRZ + swapping in 10 dot weapons in 10 seconds is fun in a weird sort of way. Also I have never paid as much attention to server ticks as I have to now...I both love and hate that aa. Currently farming Seru 4/4 and time and trying to figure out with a partner if Zeb is in striking range for us.

I just love how passive my war is, I get those passive buffs with the monk.

Its great to just be able to passivily gain all that power rathe than need to press buttons haha - I too am losing out on a lot of synergy I think though becaue I dont have healing adept and stuff.

I am thinking of swapping my war for BST.. It seems to have some good buffs to heals, and still keeps the RoRz ability with bloodlust.

Id love to try war/wiz/bst to see what that burst damage is like with DD buffs, and double RoRz/Bloodlust
