Rangers could be so much fun, if track didn’t actively point you in the wrong direction! Help!

Here's the thing bros -
Devs have known about this specific issue for over 3 years at this point - Haynar made a post in this thread on 12/8/14. My issue is that it affects certain classes in an unbalanced way. Bards? It doesn't hurt them terribly, since their track only reaches as far as the anti-hax. A significant percentage of PCs on bard track are close enough that they are unaffected, and thus a Bard can accurately track another PCs position with the skill, as it was initially intended and was intended before Summer 2014 (when the most recent change to track went into effect). Druids are in a similar position, but since their track is slightly larger, they are affected slightly more, but not in a way that significantly alters their gameplay in a pvp setting. Rangers? We are getting a huge, unmitigated shaft here. This was meant to be our big contribution to PvE and PvP, since it obviously isnt our DPS or our spell casting ability. Yet the majority of our track range falls into this "anti-hax" range, and we are actually being disserved by even having it. In PvE, it is a huge boon to any group to quickly see what is UP and what is not up, as is intended. Regarding PvP, however, it points us in the wrong direction, rather than just an arbitrary one (it could always point north, but instead will always point in a direction OTHER than the target). Thus, one of a rangers' intended contributions towards gameplay is actually inverted and made into a hinderance towards anyone associated with a ranger. Tl;dr, why play a ranger when a warrior won't send you in the wrong direction and hits harder, bows harder and can tank mobs? If there's no plan to either a) fix this issue in a way that benefits the affected classes proportionally, or b) address this issue at all, one can only wonder if the intended result was to drive certain pvp mechanics to certain classes and ensure certain classes are abandoned. Certainly does not feel classic at all. Don't get me wrong, Devs, I appreciate everything that you do and will continue to play here, but I would love to know if I should be rerolling or not.

I'd say roughly 50% of the time I end up tracking to the middle of nowhere with nothing in sight. It's frustrating to say the least.
