This is just a clicky to summon bandages of a sort or am I missing something?

If so bandages are cheap … seems like a lot of effort for something so unnecessary.
You are not missing anything. Pretty niche use case, but good for a soloing Monk with limited bag space that doesn’t want to keep running out from wherever they are exping to buy bandages. Based on how long the camp is, it will never provide a return on your time. I don’t have much time to play anymore, so if I can scrounge 50k I would probably pay for loot rights.

I de leveled my Monk so would be nice to never have to buy a bandage while re leveling. Also, can’t hammer till 50 so makes getting out of some places slightly more time consuming.

To DSM’s point, if you are going to level for a long time at rat maz, my guess is your gonna pay for a locket bind so you can hammer out then get TL’d back.

At the state of the game having a lowbie porter loaded with probes, bandages, a cap to recharge, invis rings, with food/drink often makes it less painful. Anytime I cap out or hammer off a probe I make sure my char is restocked as best I can with a few gems to use for port tips.

Having a manisi plant is really cool. It’s less trashy than a drop xfer with 8 stacks of bandages. But that is usually still an option.

The fact a useful drop is also for an epic is, IMHO a bit broken. Peggy cloak frigzample. Stupid. The bard ore drop that is also for another quest is fucked up. We were trolled. Or ike others have said item devs never/rarely communicated with the quest devs.

Summoned bandages are pretty sick. Spend weeks camping the dagger on my warrior in tofs. Maybe even months.... I got so many sorcerous bowls!

I was still getting some XP so i stuck around and ended up getting the second dagger in less than a week, and some crazy officer started demanding I give him one LOL.

Ended up that officer's unusual sense of entitlement was not a one off - he had stole a bunch of stuff from the guild, iirc including a fungi?

I think this was during Azure Guard, anyone remember the details, or is it best to let bygones be bygones? [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I think you'd just kill yourself (duel or otherwise), do your groceries, and get rezed back. There's tons of pocket clerics up here.

Also, soloing at rat maze isn't actually great as a monk. There's tons of runners, and if someone else happens to be down there, you can easily not have enough spawns.

Good call this is probably the best option and I have a porter I don’t use that would be perfect for this. Plant would be cool but not worth the time investment.

Agree the rez back to PoM is a better option. Never really liked rat maze for any class but there are definitely better spots for a Monk. For the work from home crowd I’m sure it is nice to blow up a mob and afk/med back up.

It took me exactly 100 spawn cycles before I saw the Small Manisi Plant drop.

71 PHs
29 Grand Herbalists

The Small Manisi Plant is on a separate loot table from the GH's main loot. He does not hold the plant in his hands so there is no way of telling if the GH has it until you kill him.

Ewww … that’s 33.333 hours if you could instant death touch him on spawn. More like 46-50 hours if you factor in time to kill and set up.

Nah no thanks. Bandages are cheap, lightweight and available most places vendors exist.

Super duper niche item.
