What even is "gamergate", though? Just looks like a lot of people misunderstanding what feminism is and making fun of feminists.

Feminism was tangentially related at the start and certainly not a focus, not until certain slacktivists decided they could make a profit off of the situation so they came up with the "gaming is a boys only club" narrative and started demanding the entire industry change to accommodate a small percentage of it.
