I think listing more than 2 or 3 items from VP is kinda dumb.

EDIT: And just so I can be a little more constructive, the only item from VP I can think of putting on the list is that one cloak think. VP is ghey.

I don't think he's trolling.. I know exactly what he means. But the fact is that some of the items are defining and many are best in slot. For that reason, I would like to list some of the more impressive, rare, or defining items.

I do not pretend to know which items those are, so I'm taking feedback.

McBard, if you HAD to list 5-7 items which are the best VP has to offer, which items would you list?

Pha dah's pixels are the cream of VP and are best in slot for a long time, some for the life of the server. Only other pieces worth listing are the shaman primal essence hammer, grey suede boots, maybe 1 or 2 other items. Seriously once epics come out all those weapons are worthless.

HBB much like yourself I don't really know which is BiS and bad ass/super rare over which is just another item. That's why I mentioned the cloak from PD (Shroud of veeshan). It's the only item I know of that is super awesome and should be on the list.. the rest meh. 41% haste boots are pretty neat, the shaman clicky is awesome but I'm not sure what other clickies from VP are the bees knees (sow sword maybe?).

tl;dr
Shroud of veeshan should be on the list, idk about anything else.

Edit: Ok I took some time to look at the list. Here's what I see:
Shroud of Veeshan (PD)
Robe of the Azure Sky (PD)
Hammer of the Dragonborn (SW) Seems to be hands down the best clicky from VP

Then more debateable imo:
Grey Suede Boots
Fatesealer
Blood Orchid Katana
Yunbbs earring
Crown of Rile

Aside from that everything else is mostly either weapons that get replaced or offhanded for epics, caster 2 handers with 80-100mana and mediocre clickies or caster robes with utility clickies.

Shissar Apothic Staff should be on there; it is epic, especially once Donal's BP gets nerfed. Eventually gets removed from Hoshkar's loot table and replaced with a similar staff that right-clicks an AC buff (read: lame)
